There are several holidays approaching. and I’m always looking for thoughtful but inexpensive gift ideas. It’s nice to have something to gift a teacher, coach, friend, or the occasional long-lost cousin during the holidays. I stumbled across some adorable mugs that are handy for coffee or tea, and I thought they would make cute gifts. Mugs and tea cups are fun to give filled with stuff. I filled these with a fancy new tea that I discovered, and I also created some free printable gift tags to make packaging these mugs/tea cups easier.
You’ll need some supplies to create these gifts:
- Mugs/tea cups
- Clear wrap
- Washi tape or ribbon
I love the Signature Tea Company tins available at Walmart, and they slide easily inside mugs or tea cups. The tin containers help keep the tea fresh and it’s available in a variety of organic flavors.
I created this “meant to tea” file that you can download as a pdf here.
I printed the file out on cardstock and then cut out the circles. I used some clear cellophane to wrap the mugs and tea, and I attached the circles with Scotch washi tape.
There is enough room on the back of the tag to write a personal note or names.
Personally I think these mugs are adorable, and I would love and appreciate something so thoughtful. They were inexpensive and they didn’t take much time to put together.
Do you think they were “meant to tea”?
I received the tea in my Acorn #TheHolidayBox. Wanna take a peek inside to see what else I received? Check back in a few days, I’ll be sharing a fun recipe using some of the other items from my box.
