How big is your holiday shopping list? I have a large extended family, a few close friends, teachers, coaches, and a theatre director who were all on my shopping list. Our regular Fedex and UPS drivers make a few trips out to our farm each week, and always handle our packages with care; I wanted to do something for them to show our appreciation too. The costs of gifts for everyone can add up quickly. We use the local Redbox machines to rent movies regularly, and I was surprised to learn that you can buy e-gift cards as well as individual movie rental code bundles. They’re relatively inexpensive, and you could easily gift one or a few. Today I’m sharing a few quick gift ideas using Redbox promo codes and a free printable to share the codes with friends and family.
How many Redbox locations do you think exist in the United States? There are more Redbox kiosks in the US than Starbucks and McDonald’s combined. They’re very convenient. I can even pick a movie up in one city and return it in another. They have a large selection of new release Blu-ray discs, DVDs, and games available at self-service kiosks around the country. They’re generally cheaper than digitally renting movies and you don’t have to rely on your internet connection for streaming.
You can gift someone a movie or game night for as little as $1.50. The codes never expire. They can be used online to reserve a movie or game, or directly at the box.
The codes would be great for:
- Stocking stuffers
- Inserted in cards
- Additions to movie or game night themed baskets. You could pair with items such as popcorn buckets, popcorn, candy, and other snacks to gift someone a family movie or game night.
We are giving a few away this year to teachers, friends, family, coaches, and our favorite delivery drivers. I created these fun printable movie night tickets to write the Redbox promo codes on. You can download the free printable here.
Gabe asked if he could have a few to select his own movies during family movie night.
