Peach Pie Protein Shake

Acorn Disclosure

My wedding is just over four months away, and I really want to get in the best physical shape possible. My exercise and meal plan includes regular cardio workouts, weight lifting, and a low calorie diet with adequate protein to help build lean muscle mass. I know I generally don’t eat enough protein, so I researched alternative protein replacement options. I found Purely Inspired® protein powder and Mission1™ bars at my local Walmart. I used the Purely Inspired® protein powder to create a delicious Peach Pie Protein Shake, and I’m sharing the recipe below.

Wedding planning is stressful enough, but especially so for me, because when I purchased my wedding dress nearly two years ago I was two sizes smaller. I just don’t have it in my budget to buy a new dress, especially when I have my dream designer dress hanging in my closet. I know that if I stick to a low calorie diet and exercise program I can lose the weight.

Purely Inspired® protein powder isn’t a weight loss product, but it can help me control the number of calories and grams of protein that I consume.

Purely Inspired® is made from 100% plant based proteins. It’s USDA approved organic with no artificial colors or flavors. Purely Inspired® can be added to baked goods to increase the overall protein content. I’ve added protein to muffins, pancakes, and even my oatmeal.

My mom had purchased me a bushel of peaches during the summer. We ate half and I froze the other half to cook with throughout the winter. Peaches are super easy to freeze, and they’re way more tasty frozen than canned. Of course you can use canned peaches in a pinch. This protein shake tastes similar to a peach pie, but with a healthy serving of protein.
