Part of my stay at Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort Villages & Spa was subsidized,
however all opinions are entirely my own. #BeachesMoms
Kentucky has had a terrible winter. We went from 70F during Christmas to nearly 8 straight weeks of wretched snow. We had over 2 feet of snow on the ground at one point, and I was dreaming of the beach. I was longing to be back at Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort Villages & Spa. Last fall, I was invited to attend Social Media on the Sand with Beaches Moms; we had the most amazing family vacation. If you’re on the fence about going, I don’t hesitate to recommend Beaches Resorts. We stayed at the beautiful and luxurious Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort Villages & Spa, and we had an amazing time. You can read more about our vacation and the resort over on this post. During our stay we were lucky enough to be chosen for the Sesame Street Character Breakfast. It’s normally an extra charge, but we were invited along with several other blogger families. I’ve had a few people who were planning Beaches Resorts vacations ask me if I thought the Sesame Street Character Breakfast at Beaches Resorts was worth the small upgrade charge.
I won’t be suspenseful with my answer. It was one of my favorite parts of our vacation. I grew up watching Sesame Street. I loved Big Bird, Oscar the Grouch, Cookie Monster, Count von Count, Bert, and Ernie, and I still do. Memories of my childhood came flooding back as the characters came into the room. It’s incredible that I can share Sesame Street with my own son. I took the time to familiarize myself with the newer characters such as Elmo, Abby, and Zoe, which are some of my son’s favorite characters. Jeremy’s biggest disappointment was not getting his picture made with Oscar the Grouch, who I think might be his personal hero.
Sesame Street is a already a big part of your Beaches Resort vacation. They offer Sesame Street Character Parades, Stage Shows, and they’re involved with the Kids Camp for younger guests. I had friends who took their children to bake cookies with Cookie Monster, which is truly a once in a lifetime experience.
Here are some photos from our Sesame Street Character Breakfast at Beaches Resorts
The Sesame Street Character Breakfast at Beaches Resorts brings all of your favorite characters into one room with the exception of Big Bird; I think it’s kind of hard for him to venture into buildings given his height. But we still got to visit with him outside. The characters came around to each table and we had photo opportunities with each of them. My son also got to have breakfast with some of his new friends from the Kids Camp programs he participated in each day.
The Sesame Street Character Breakfast at Beaches Resorts includes:
- A delicious breakfast that lasts about 45 minutes
- One on one interaction with each of the Sesame Street characters at the breakfast
- Coloring mat and crayons
- Mylar Sesame Street balloon
- Sippy cup
- Sesame Street finger puppet
My son received a Count von Count finger puppet, and he is often found “floating” around our house. Our puppy Kitty has a particular fondness for that toy.
The kids had a conga line type dance party as the breakfast was wrapping up, and my son squealed in delight the entire time.
You’ll need to double check prices, but the last time I looked the charge for the Sesame Street Character Breakfast at Beaches Resorts is:
- $12 per adult
- $16 per children (but 2 and under are free)
- $49.99 for the family package which includes 2 adults and 2 children
- $99.99 for the deluxe family package which includes the family package plus one color 8×10 photograph two Sesame Street plush dolls
Our entire family immensely enjoyed our Sesame Street Character Breakfast. We enjoyed a delicious meal and reminisced about our favorite characters while my son giggled with a visiting Elmo. If you’re planning a Beaches Resorts vacation with a younger child, it’s definitely worth the small extra expense.
Beaches Resorts currently offers several other additional Sesame Street upgrades such as a Night Night, Sleep Tight Bedtime Story with select characters, All-Access Photo Session, and even Birthday Parties.
I recently read that they’re adding two more Sesame Street programs this year which will include Beaches Resorts Presents Discovery Dome and Exploring The Moon With Elmo.
So are you ready to start planning your Beaches Resorts vacation? My family is very ready to go back and we hope to this upcoming fall. Head over to Beaches Resorts where you can plan and book your next family vacation.
