When Gabe was a baby, his father, was stationed in Bogota, Colombia. We traveled frequently domestically and internationally, and most of the time it was just Gabe at I. One of our trips included flying back from Bogotá with my 18 lb French Bulldog puppy Bob, in a carrier, Gabe’s bulky stroller, a diaper bag and a not quite 3 year old Gabe; I nearly swore off flying solo again. There were no direct flights from Bogotá to Lexington, so I would have to load and unload my stroller from gate check with Gabe on my hip and Bob on my shoulder. I was exhausted when we finally made it back home. I would have loved a lightweight version like the gb Pockit Stroller that we have now. It’s small enough that I could have carried it in the top of my diaper bag. and a lot easier to unfold. Who would have thought that the stroller seen below was shipped in that tiny box?
I love to travel. I have a nearly endless list of places that I would like to visit. I rarely travel without Gabe, and t’s a lot more fun now that he can walk independently. My fiancé and I would like to have a child or two together, and I would love to keep traveling. I really think that the gb Pockit Stroller will help make that a reality.
The gb Pockit is the 2014 Guinness World Records™ most compact stroller. It folds up to the dimensions of 12x7x14, which is almost as small as my handbag. Think of all the extra trunk space that you would have in your vehicle with a tiny folded stroller. The gb Pockit Stroller weighs just 9 pounds. It has an adjustable harness system for use on children ages 6 months up to 55 pounds. Gabe who just turned 6 weighs roughly 50 pounds (but he’s 49 inches tall) and I easily pushed him around to see how it traveled with a larger child.
Even our cat wanted to go for a ride.
Jeremy had never unfolded a stroller before and I decided to put him to the test with the gb Pockit stroller. I had a hard time understanding how he had never unfolded his nieces stroller, and Gabe was beyond stroller age when we met. I shot this short clip of him unfolding and folding the gb Pockit stroller so that you can see how easy it is and how really small the stroller folds up.
It’s available in 6 colors:
- Monument Black
- Lizard Khaki
- Seaport Blue
- Dragonfire Red
- Posh Pink
- Capri Blue
It also has Change Bag and a Travel Bag as accessories available for purchase.
It will be great to have with new babies and to use when we’re caring for our young nieces and nephews. I plan to have lots of new adventures with this new stroller.
You can find this stroller at Babies ‘R’ Us and it would make a terrific baby registry item.
Do you travel often with small children, are you expecting a child, or need a compact-lightweight stroller for daily commuting? Definitely head to Babies ‘R’ Us to check out the gb Pockit Stroller.
