I can’t believe my wedding is next weekend; my rehearsal dinner is just one week from today. Time flies when you’re having fun (lol). I’ve had to be very conscious about what I eat so that I can make sure I will fit into my wedding gown. I purchased it nearly two years ago when I was a few pounds slimmer. Generally you’ll attend several functions leading up to your wedding, probably a bridal shower, bridesmaid luncheon, and your rehearsal dinner. I’ve been trying to stick with lean proteins and lots of veggies and fruit along with a exercise regimen to help shed those last few pounds. This recipe for a Turkey Nacho Skillet is waist-friendly and has loads of flavor. It made hosting my bridesmaids for an impromptu wedding planning party a snap.
I paired the Turkey Nacho Skillet with Honeysuckle White Turkey Bratwurst on the grill, for a party with easy clean up.
Did you know I’m getting married here on the farm? We’re serving BBQ at our reception, and you can’t have great BBQ without a great sauce.
Here are the two products I used:
The Bratwurst was easy, we just threw it on the grill. Jeremy spent enough time in Texas during his career that he begged me to let him smoke it, but we didn’t have that kind of time.
If you don’t want to go inside to cook, you could also prepare the Turkey Nacho Skillet on the grill in a cast iron skillet.

Honeysuckle White sent me some lovely gifts to help set up my party. My friends loved the spring touch that the blue plaid napkins added to the table. The Ball drinking mugs were fun to use. Everyone received a spice jar with attached recipe cards as guest favors, and these could be easily replicated at your own party.
Honeysuckle White turkeys are raised on 700 independent farms, so you’re helping to support real farmers with your purchase. They have a wide variety of products, all of which use no growth-promoting antibiotics. Honeysuckle White is also very budget-friendly, which can help make it easier to feed your family. It’s easy to be a grill master with a wide variety of turkey products that are perfect for tossing on the grill.
What cookout would be complete without s’mores? I made an easy S’more Parfait using pudding, chocolates, graham crackers, and marshmallows.
