How many times have you opened your pantry, closet, or cabinets to realize that “oops” you’re out of toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies, or other household necessities? How do you #AvoidTheOops? I try to purchase as many products in bulk as possible, and I enjoy ordering online. Today I’m sharing how I #AvoidTheOops by ordering many household items through Walmart.com.
At the moment, there are 4 adults, 4 kids under the age of 11, 2 dogs, and 3 cats at our house. My grandmother, aunt, and cousins are visiting Gabe for a day or two. We’ve been cooking, playing, swimming, and fishing. There is twice the fun at our house at the moment, but a family visit also requires more household supplies, dishes, and laundry. I don’t mind at all, because I love the sound of laughter and all of the memories that they’ve made together. I just don’t want to run out of any necessities.
In honesty, the adults and kids are the least of my worries when we own such inquisitive pets.
Jeremy’s mother gave me some gladiolus from her garden. One of my cats have been incredibly curious about them.
Leo decided he needed to smell them.
Leo decided then that he needed to lick them.
Apparently they tasted good enough that he wanted to try a bite.
Then he decided he did not like them!
We narrowly escaped disaster when he decided to try to climb the vase; the resulting mess would have easily required half a roll of paper towels to clean up. Having pets requires extra cleaning supplies.

When I found out my family was coming or a visit, I ordered some household supplies. I didn’t have to make an extra trip to Walmart. I walked through my house, and made a list of items that I knew we would need.
- Paper towels
- Toilet paper
- Various cleaners
- Batteries (because they have a lot of electronic toys and remotes)
I also ordered razors and hair conditioner for myself, because I use a lot of both in the summer. Shipping is free for orders over $50 or you can choose free store pickup.
The #AvoidTheOops website links to many of your favorite P&G brands directly, so you don’t have to spend more time looking for them.
I saved time and money by ordering through the #AvoidTheOops portal on the Walmart.com site.
Have you ever had an oops moment? If so, I’d love to hear about it. How do you #AvoidTheOops?
