10 Adorable & Affordable Children’s Clothing Companies
Shrimp and Grits Kids has a wide variety of dresses, bubbles, sets, tops, bottoms, outerwear and accessories. I’ve found a few pieces that I must have for the new little one. Most of the dresses retail for $42 but you can occasionally find them on sale for as low as $29. They also offer coordinating patterns for siblings.
I love all the small details and monogramming options that Eliza James Kids offers. Many of the pieces have intricate embroidery and appear to be heirloom quality. They offer sizes from 3 months to 6 years.
The Southern Smocked Company offers sizes from 3 months to 12 years. One of my favorite current collections is the crab that is available in both the boys and girls lines. They offer both plain and intricately embroidered pieces. I found bishop style dresses for as low as 27.99, which is a steal!
Smocked Auctions is the only company that I found which carries newborn sizes, which is fantastic if you’re looking for the perfect outfit to bring your little one home in. They currently have a White Satin Baptism Gown for 24.99 and it’s exquisite.
Smocked Blessings offers smocked outfits for girls and boys, a knit collection for boys, and a wide variety of personalized items. One of my favorite items is available in the sale section. It’s a Mint Dot Horse Stable Smocked Dress and it’s also available in a Bubble. The sale price is 27.00.
Stellabelly was launched in 2012. They offer a Bargin Bin which is a hot spot for clearance clothing. They offer one of the largest selections of holiday and seasonal children’s clothing on this list in sizes 6 months to 12 years.
I’ve had a long-time love of Bailey Boys clothing. I still have most of the Bailey Boys outfits from when my son (who is 7) was a baby. I found that they hold up extremely well, especially if you like to reuse clothing for subsequent kids. Several of their styles are reversible, so they can get twice the wear. A few of the styles offer coordinating prints for siblings. Although Bailey Boys is a little more expensive than some of the other clothing lines, I’ve found that the quality is worth the price increase.
Cecil & Lou offers sizes from 3 months to 6 years. They offer a selection similar to other smocked children’s clothing companies from A line dresses to Sleepwear. Bubbles start at 26.99 and boys rompers start at 26.99.
I’m least familiar with the The Beaufort Bonnet Company. They offer a wide selection of beautiful bonnets for every season. The Beaufort Bonnet Company offers a growing selection of heirloom style children’s clothing in sizes ranging from 0-3 months to 6 years.
One of my favorite things about Mud Pie clothing is the sales that they offer. I always purchased my son’s clothing a season ahead and I plan to do the same with the new baby. I’ve scored some pretty sweet deals on outfits as low as 6.99. The prints are adorable and I’ve found the clothing holds up well.
