Chocolate Chip Pecan Bread Pudding
- 1 Marie Callender's@ Double Chocolate Loaf Cake
- 4 eggs
- 1½ cups milk
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ⅛ teaspoon nutmeg
- ½ cup pecans
- Preheat oven to 350F
- Grease a 9x9 baking dish
- Thaw Marie Callender's® Loaf Cake and prepare according to package directions and allow it to cool completely
- Slice cake into small squares and place in a bowl
- In a separate medium size mixing bowl beat eggs until frothy
- Add in milk, cinnamon and nutmeg to eggs
- Pour mixture over the bread and allow it to soak for 15 mins.
- Fold in pecans
- Bake for 30-35 minutes
- It's best served warm
