Glazed Donut French Toast Recipe

  • 2 Glazed Donuts (preferably stale)
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • dash of salt
  • optional vanilla extract
  1. Use a bread knife to slice the glazed donuts into two halves (donuts should be thinner circles)
  2. Beat egg, milk, and salt together until frothy
  3. Optionally mix in vanilla extract
  4. Pour into a shallow bowl
  5. Soak each donut side in egg mixture briefly
  6. Fry each side in a greased skillet or griddle over low-medium heat until golden brown
  7. Serve immediately
