Have you ever taken a “me” Day? Whether you have or you haven’t, Domain.ME wants you to take one on March 16. They have established ME Day to embrace and celebrate ourselves, so we are better able to care for the people that matter in our lives. This #MEday awareness post is sponsored by Domain.ME through the Everywhere Agency, however all opinions are entirely my own.
I have big plans for ME Day. Thanks to the generosity of Domain.ME, I’ll be visiting a local spa for a few hours of pampering. I’m getting a hot stone massage, a facial, and an express pedicure. I could really use the time to relax and allow my body to recuperate.
I have been going to intensive physical therapy and having traction in an attempt to alleviate the symptoms of a chronic injury/condition. I have a T5 disc compression which is at least partially due to a long-term Vitamin D deficiency. My condition went undiagnosed and caused osteoporosis. I fell on the farm last fall, and it just exacerbated my condition. Physical therapy often leaves me sore and mentally frustrated. I’m still young (at least at heart), and I shouldn’t be hurting. I have an adorable little boy that I want to chase and play soccer with.
Have you heard the phrase, “I wish I knew then what I know now?” I realize that I should have taken better care of ME.

I’ve been lousy at caring for my mental, physical, and emotional health. We often fail to realize the long term impact decisions have on our body. I know now that I should have gotten more sleep, visited the doctor for regular check-ups, worn sunscreen and never laid in the tanning bed, and maintained a healthy weight by keeping a consistent diet and exercise regimen instead of binge eating or exercising to drop weight quickly; That’s just the beginning of my list. I wish I had found a good therapist following the death of my brother, Brandon, instead of struggling in silence for years with horrible post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, and depression. buy lopid online https://bethanyhealthcare.org/wp-content/languages/new/lopid.html no prescription
There are no doubts about it, looking after your mental health is crucial. Plus, nowadays, there are more ways to take care of yourself than ever before.

I know a lot of people use cannabis as a way to stabilize their mental health as it can be an effective treatment for anxiety and depression. However, I understand that some people aren’t familiar with using it and might be put off because of the stigma that surrounds it. This doesn’t mean you can’t benefit from it though, as there are ways of accessing the two main components of cannabis (CBD and THC) without using it directly. For example, many people like consuming a shatter bar. Shatter is a marijuana extract that is usually vaporized by consumers, but it can also be made into edibles, as is the case with a shatter bar.

People often prefer extracts like shatter because they are a fast, easy, smoke-free way to consume cannabis. As well as this, one of my friends who lives with anxiety and depression has found that using THC in the form of a thc distillate syringe is a very effective way to improve her mood as it reduces her negative thoughts. Perhaps more popularly, CBD is used in a similar way. Natural remedies are not for everyone, but there is a lot of ongoing anecdotal evidence to suggest that CBD can have a positive impact on the response of your brain to serotonin. Consequently, if you would like to learn more about the potential mental health benefits of using CBD infused products, you might want to do some research into buy lopressor online https://bethanyhealthcare.org/wp-content/languages/new/lopressor.html no prescription
The bottom line is that I realize the importance of caring for ME and I’m going to try to do better going forward.
I think you’ve heard enough about ME, and how and why I am celebrating my ME Day. I want to talk about how you can celebrate ME Day. If you can’t swing a few hours at the spa, here are a few less expensive ways to celebrate ME Day:
- Take a few hours to do something you enjoy or find something that will help you relax.
- Check out a book from the library and spend some time reading.
- Give yourself a DIY manicure and/or pedicure.
- Take a long, warm bath.
- Organize your closet so that things are easier to find; this will make your life easier every day.
- Catch up with an old friend.
- Discover new hobbies.
- Revisit an old hobby that you haven’t had time for lately.
- Splurge by going for a nice dinner or purchase the ingredients to make one.
- Take a nap.
