If you’ve read my previous post about STEM toys for young children, you saw that I mentioned K’NEX toys. We have several sets ranging from plain K’NEX builders to themed sets. You can find them in a wide variety of price points and skill levels. Gabe really enjoyed building the K’NEX Wild Whiplash Roller Coaster with me. Here’s our review and I’ve included a few tips to help make the project a little easier.

STEM Toys For Young Children: Friday Fresh Picks

My son’s birthday is a month after Christmas. I struggle with gift suggestions for him, I hate having a house filled with toys that he will play with one or video games. Big items on the list he created included anything Pokemon and Skylanders. He’s also in Cub Scouts so his first BB gun and archery set is on his list. I’ve encouraged our family to purchase STEM toys for Gabe because he really enjoys math and science projects. Here are a few of great STEM Toys for Young Children that I’ve discovered during my quest to find gifts or gift suggestions for Gabe.
