#StyleUp4School

This post is sponsored by Everywhere Agency on behalf of OshKosh B’gosh; however, all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.

We have a new member of our household; in late July, I gave birth to a daughter. My son started school just two weeks later and luckily we had done most of our back to school shopping prior to the arrival of his little sister. My son is 7.5 years old and just started 2nd grade. He has strong opinions on everything, including his school clothing. When cleaning out his closet before shopping, I realized that nothing from his spring school wardrobe would fit him, unless it had elastic in the waist (and that didn’t guarantee they would fit). We always head to OshKosh B’gosh for most of his clothing. I’ve found that their clothing can withstand fun on the playground and life on the farm, and without breaking my budget; this is more important than ever since I have two kids to buy clothes for now. Today I’m sharing a few of our favorite pieces from OshKosh B’gosh and how we #StyleUp4School. I’m also giving away an OshKosh B’gosh gift card and asking for your helping selecting a project to fund on DonorsChoose.org at the bottom of this post. #StyleUp4School Continue reading #StyleUp4School With OshKosh B’Gosh

spring break packing tips
This post is sponsored by OshKosh B’Gosh for the Everywhere Society; however, all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own. #OshKoshKids #BreakForSpring”
Can you believe spring is finally just around the corner? We had an incredibly short and harsh winter in Kentucky. It was 75 on Christmas and then the temperature plummeted. We were blanketed with snow for nearly 6 weeks straight, which is rough when you live in southern Kentucky. I’m not fond of snow, and I like it even less since I fell and broke my hand when walking on snow and ice. It nearly ruined Gabe’s birthday party, too. School was canceled for a week and half before his party, and I struggled to get invites to classmates. Jeremy’s dad had to take a tractor to the driveway to remove the snow so people could park. Snow is good for a day of sledding, and that’s about it. Speaking of tractors, we are thinking of purchasing an upgrade soon. One of our friends who is a farmer recently purchased a new tractor from the Fastline website. They have an amazing selection of tractor makes and models and a huge variety of other farming equipment too. Anyway, I believe saying that we’re ready for spring break is an understatement. The real question should be, “Spring break, are you ready for us?” Who’s ready to #BreakForSpring?
Today, I’m sharing a $50 Spring Shopping Challenge and I’m giving away a $50 OshKosh B’Gosh gift card to help with your own $50 Spring Shopping Challenge. You’ll need to scroll all the way to the bottom to find out how to enter for your chance to win. This year I challenged myself to spend only $50 to purchase Gabe a few new outfits for spring break. “I am a member of the Everywhere Society and Everywhere has provided me with compensation for this post. However, all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.”

I love receiving Holiday Cards with sharply-dressed children and families; they’re one of my favorite parts of the holiday season. It’s equally fun for me to style Gabe up for our holiday cards, photograph him, and mail them to our friends and family. Do you find it tough to style your family for holiday cards? It can be challenging to coordinate outfits, but OshKosh B’gosh makes it easy to coordinate with a wide variety of sizes from newborn through size 12. Here are some of my favorite tips for creating a little holiday style for kids, and photographing your own holiday card. I’ve also included a list of questions that you should ask your children during the holiday season; it’s fun to record them while they’re dressed up and observe how their answers change from year to year.
