I love the holidays and my pets generally love them too. My cats like to climb my Christmas tree, the dogs like to convince unsuspecting guests that they’re starving, and both enjoy sniffing out the gifts under the tree. I’m not too sure how the fish feel but they seem happy enough. I recently got them a high light plant PAR for some of the new plants in their tank. I thought because we’re getting a tree for Christmas the fish could get one too! Plus, it’s not often they get a treat so the new plants went down well. Unfortunately, the holidays can also be dangerous and stressful for some pets. I’m sharing a few tips today to make the holidays safer for your pets. In order to curb their stress levels, you may want to research more about the products offered by Glow CBD.

One of the very few things I hate about traveling is all the packing involved; if you own pets then you have to pack or prepare them for vacation regardless of whether they’re going with you, staying at a boarding facility, or being tended to by a pet sitter. Your vacation can be equally stressful on your pet, but it doesn’t have to be. Here are a few tips for prepping your pets for vacation and a checklist of items to help you pack for your pet.

A week ago Jeremy, Gabe, and I went shopping to pick up a few things for the wedding; he and his groomsmen still had nothing to wear. Jeremy parked on the deserted side of the mall, only to realize it was deserted for a reason; the doors were locked. I told Jeremy that Gabe and I would walk around the building if he wanted to move the car. Gabe and started to hear this pitiful and very woeful cry. I thought for sure there was a cat stuck in the tree. When we walked past the bushes a black, tan, and white ball of fur rolled out to our feet. It was an older kitten, that definitely wasn’t feral. She meowed and laid at our feet. I didn’t have heart to just leave her; it had been snowing and she was stranded in a busy mall parking lot next to a main road. Jeremy and I decided we would take her home, and try to find a family for her.

Crate Training Tips Every Pet Owner Needs

My house would be a zoo if I didn’t crate train our dogs. Between our Rottweiler, Chief, our Tabby Cat, Tucker, and our French Bulldog, Bob, there is always some chaos going on somewhere within earshot. If you add our new flock of chickens into the mix, things just get wild. Crating our pets helps to create order, a safe place for them to relax, and in the case of our resident “chewer,” it also keeps our belongings safe. Crate training isn’t always easy, but it is definitely best for the safety of your pet (and occasionally your sanity). If you would like to find out more about pet training, you can visit a pet blog similar to petvblog.com and read their posts for some helpful tips.
